Under Three Months- the worry

This is my first pregnancy... does anyone else feel that times goes by so slowly.. I had my first scan at 6 weeks- the found a heartbeat my HCG was good my progesterone was only 8.9 on the pills now doing pretty well - this is the greatest thing that has ever happened to us a true miracle..but so nervous@ I am at 7 weeks 4 days very very light brown spotting once in a while or when I wipe - It was tinge pinkish brown - once....Should I be worried -
cramping once in a while doesn't seem abnormal at all...all pregnancy symptoms... I just wish I could speed to week 10 and then 12... anyone else experience this? Just staying happy and calm.. positive because ultimately its out of my hands- :)

Firstly, any concerns you have, ANY however silly you think they might be please see your MW or GP to have checked.

Yes, time did go sooo slowly! Counting each day to the 12 week scan! It will go just as slowly to the 20 week scan too. I found though that it all sped up after that and before I knew it I was huge! Good luck and have a happy and healthy 9 months!

Lost my symptoms over night at 5 weeks, then a few days later had bad cramps and a bleed. Figured it was all over. Still spotting a few days later so tried GP who couldn't see me and was told to go to urgent care. They referred me to EPU, got a scan - tiny baby there!! I had been absolutely sure it had died that night. Had another scan where they saw a good heartbeat, so all seems well and I'm just over 8 weeks.

I found this page really reassuring, the risk drops dramatically quite early on.

I also read that if you see a heartbeat at 7 or 8 weeks (can't remember exactly), essentially the risk is then minimal.

It's not helpful that early symptoms can mean either everything is OK or there is a problem, you'd think nature would have sorted this out by now! I'll be so glad to get past week 9 and then say bye bye to the first trimester!

@catlady3 aww so glad you have made it! Yes I just can’t get passed the worry I’m 8 weeks today 🙏🏻❤️ Still spotting brown very little have a scan on Wednesday and I just pray all is okay ... I want to hurry to 13 weeks ! Still exhausted boobs hurt less still hurt but not like the first month 1/2

Having an ultrasound will help ease the worry

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow, let us know how it goes. I've read symptoms can come and go, and that spotting is very common. Try to relax, easier said than done x
