I’m 40 weeks today and went in last night after having a bit of a show and getting what seemed like early labour cramps. Well soon as I reached the hospital the cramps started to get further apart and died off. So I was given a sweep and went home. Cramping and more show started this morning, but still irregular. Some are 5 mins, some 15, some 10 etc. Definitely more uncomfortable though. I am just getting fed up now. I know it’s only been just over 24 hours, but I’d had my first born by now, so never reached my due date and the labour came on quite quickly first time.
How much longer will this go on for? Any positive stories? Anyone went on like this for days? :(
I have a toddler and she’s at my mums at the moment so I can get some rest which is great, but I feel so guilty not being able to spend time with her.
