Morning sickness at 37 weeks

Morning

I’m 37 weeks and 3 days today. The last few days I’ve been feeling really restless and having what I think are slightly painful Braxton hicks.

More annoyingly still I’ve woken up the last two days feeling stuffy and really sick. I was nauseous yesterday but threw up today.

Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering if it’s normal/sign of things progressing. I can’t find anything on the internet to confirm or deny!

Thank you :)

I was nauseous for the whole time but I was being sick in the last few days. For me it was a sign of progression!

meepmoop · 19/07/2019 07:21

It might be a sign of things progressing. I was sick loads before and during labour

anitagreen · 19/07/2019 12:40

I started vomiting before I went into labour x

Myla07 · 19/07/2019 13:01

Exactly the same here but 36 +3 came on all of a sudden yesterday. Hope its the start of something for you x

MegaMonsterMunch · 19/07/2019 13:03

37 weeks here too and feel the same.

Elliesmommy · 19/07/2019 13:05

37 today and I'm the exact same. It's a sign things are gearing up. It's horrible though

MmmBlowholes · 19/07/2019 14:47

I threw up a lot when I was in labour

Fae1989 · 19/07/2019 17:25

Thanks ladies.

Hope the ones of you going through the same feel better soon.

Is anyone else feeling really hot and weak? I feel so listless, it’s awful :(

@Fae1989 to be honest I think you might go into labour soon that's how I felt very tired and just lifeless apparently it's your body's way of getting it's sleep in ready for labour x

Fae1989 · 19/07/2019 18:45

@anitagreen haha yikes! To be honest I feel ready, just wish I knew either way why I felt so shocking.

You’re probably right though, I guess your body has to prepare for labour and rest up before the big day.

Glad I finished work today 😂

@Fae1989 Good luck and yes in labour I think I maybe got a few hours in before and after and that was it, but all worth it Grin

Flatwhite32 · 19/07/2019 20:18

@Fae1989 my DD is nearly one, but my morning sickness came back at 38 weeks! So random!

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 19/07/2019 20:57

I've been feeling real queasy and exhausted today, like the first trimester again and I'm only 31weeks. I'm blaming kids and work stress and the muggy weather. I was sick during both of my labours though so it could be a sign things are on the move for you?

MissL21 · 25/01/2024 08:37

Hi OP, I could have written your post myself, how soon after this did you go into labour? I'm 37+4 with my second.
