Mucus Plug?!?

Hello! So, this post might be a little TMI but just wanted to check.

I got up this morning and went for a wee then after I wiped there was lots of discharge/mucus looking stuff on the tissue...more than I've seen before! I wiped again and nothing so I might be overreacting.

Could this be mucus plug or would it be much more than one wipe? I'm only 30+6 weeks so isn't it a little early for me to be seeing it??? Any advice/reassurance would be gratefully received! Thank you

I had similar a week or so ago and I'm only 27 weeks. I called the mat assessment unit and they were very reassuring - apparently it's really common to see this, particularly if you've had a baby before (not sure why). As long as it wasn't very bloody, or green and smelly, then they weren't concerned.

Do you have any other symptoms at all? Pains etc? Could you call your midwife or hospital if you're still worried?
