So I'm nearly 11 weeks with my second baby and all of a sudden all my trousers are getting pretty tight!!

After some advice where's the best place to go for maternity clothes without costing a fortune !?❤️

H&M is good for casual/work wear and I use ASOS a lot. I'm yet to find any over bump pyjamas though so I just buy bigger sized pyjamas.

NervousBFP · 18/07/2019 10:21

Oh and Congratulations!

SamRwl · 18/07/2019 10:22

Thank you so much❤️
You think it's normal to start showing at 11weeks!? It's 5 years ago since I had my daughter can't remember a thing 🙈x

ASOS and New Look for me. I live in the ASOS leggings, and the New Look dresses are good, and I can see working post-pregnancy. I also really resent spending a lot of money on clothes that I otherwise would not have chosen.

I was in maternity pants full-time from 12 weeks... and possibly before that too. I just felt so bloated that I didn't want a waist band or anything that would apply pressure to my belly. I think I might struggle letting go of the over the bump pants post-pregnancy!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow and in some maternity stuff already (baby no3 here).

I like Seraphine, but only if they have a sale or 2nd hand from eBay as it’s £££, and then New Look and H&M for basics like vest tops.

Asos have lovely stuff & while not pregnancy specific, fabletic leggings are brilliant! Not at all see through & super stretchy.. might not be great towards the end but certainly at this point where everything feels tight!

I've found New Look and Boohoo to be good. The jeans from Boohoo are a bit hit and miss though, I've got a pair that fit perfectly and a pair that keep falling down (at just over 20 weeks)

Dorothy perkins online has some ok stuff.

I found with Jean's I buy over bump ones. Have got some from Ebay but as you cant try can be hit or miss. I did find the red herring debenhams ones most comfortable.

H and m for leggings but I am a size 14/16 so found quite alot of their things didn't fit me. As they were too small.

Pants I found mother care the best fitting for my size

Regarding showing. I am having my 2nd and although it's only 2 years later I started showing before 12 weeks and now 22 weeks people think I am further along due to my size and how I am carrying.

Maxi dresses I found are the best and if like me you get thigh rub I have these short things from Evan's which are like a thick tights material. Very comfortable and pull up over my bump and give it support as well.

Asda online are great value.

melissa1215 · 18/07/2019 19:50

Boohoo has nice dresses

Hellosunshine30 · 18/07/2019 22:40

Asda! They have great stuff

GingerRogers84 · 19/07/2019 09:33

Somewhere on the pregnancy board there's a Mumsnet post saying great Boohoo is offering Mumsnet users 30%.

Nightmanagerfan · 19/07/2019 09:37

H&M for leggings and dresses, as well as long sleeved tops and jeans.

I found new look poor quality.

Seraphine for work wear especially in a sale or from eBay!

I loved my ASOS dungarees too for the end of pregnancy when I was too huge to wear anything tight

Courtney555 · 19/07/2019 09:41

eBay. So much from eBay. I've got tonnes of really lovely "higher end" maternity clothes for almost pence. Isabella Oliver, Seraphine, Tiffany Rose, dresses that retail for £80-200, I've got for between £7 and £22. Tops for £3 to £8. You can't even tell they've been worn.

brunacaster · 19/07/2019 09:50

I've been using an app called Vinted, it has second hand clothes for mom, baby and a lot more. Most of the stuff I got was from there, all great stuff! :)
