Hello everyone!
I'm really needing some help basically I thought I was about 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant I was sent for a early scan today due to a few pains I had been having I have had no bleeds though not even spotting!
However when being scanned she said she couldn't see anything my heart sunk she said it's either I'm not as far along as we thought, or I'm having a misscarriage, or I've already had one but a piece of tissue is lingering hence the positive tests still. I then saw the doctor who took some bloods from me to test. She called me later on today saying my levels aren't extremely high or extremely low they are just normal! I have to go back Friday for another blood test now. I have taken 2 clear blues the first one says 1-2 weeks and the second said 2-3 which. I took a few days ago is it possible I'm not as far along as we thought just wondering if anyone has been through this as right now I'm feeling so low and scared I hate the waiting thank you

Waiting is horrible.
It must have been upsetting and worrying at the scan but the massively important thing to remember is you have positive tests.
Keep hold of that Flowers
Good luck on Friday x

Hi OP.

I had a bleed at what I thought was 6+6, was taken in and scanned due to previous complicated mc's. Dated me at 4+6, only a yolk and sac seen. Went back 2 weeks later when I was actually 6+6, and saw baby and heartbeat.
Could it be that you are just a few weeks earlier than you anticipated? I was put back a whole 4 weeks in my currant pregnancy. So it can happen, late ovulation, irregular periods etc it can all contribute to a slow starter or incorrect dates!

Fingers crossed! Have they offered a follow up scan? Xx

Have they ruled out it being ectopic? That's normally something they consider if nothing is seen in the uterus?
