Pregnancy after miscarriage

So any help or comments will be helpful. Found out 20th June we were pregnant after being on the pill.. which worked out I maybe forgot a few on a boozy holiday.. anyway we were happy about the news, sadly a week after a heavy bleed we were told we miscarried at around 8 weeks .. so I started taking my pill again but couldn't and still can't keep anything down so I was vomiting about half hour after having the pill, had unprotected sex every day after the bleeding had stopped after three days not even thinking that the pill wouldn't be in my system.. I'm now a hormonal mess with tingling boobs, a bloated tummy, aching back and ready to crawl in bed at tea time.. not to mention three weeks on and still not keeping any food down, we have decided while I'm being sick to come off the pill and "pull out" however am I now thinking is it possible to be pregnant so quick after a miscarriage?

Any type of unprotected sex, using the 'pull out method' or not, has a chance of leading to pregnancy. I'd do a test, if it's positive you have your answer, if negative I'd go to GP to find out why your being sick all the time

@sprite25 ahh I'm well aware what unprotected sex can lead to ha 😂 I just mean so soon after a miscarriage.. I think I'll test next week.

Yes definitely! I believe you're more fertile if anything after a miscarriage. It happened to me twice (planned).

@AnnoyedByAlfieBear it's what we both have spoke about and wanted in time but falling pregnant on the pill and loosing it has made us realise how much we want it, so now the approach is if it happens it happenes but not too much stress on it we would be over the moon, so I guess what will be will be. Thanks x

Yes, it happened to me. I had a mc at 13 weeks (managed under general in hospital). I thought it would take months at least to fall pregnant but it took weeks.

I now have a very healthy little ds Smile

Just to say, if you struggled emotionally with your mc don’t be surprised if you struggle a bit during your pregnancy. I thought being pregnant again would take away my sadness over my mc. It didn’t, I was still quite upset which I found very conflicting with my happiness about being pregnant.
