Plus Size Maternity Wear?

Hello all, so I’m plus size (size 22ish) and wanting recommendations for plus size maternity wear? I’m off until Sept (teacher) but will need a mixture of work wear and casual wear!

Do you prefer over or under bump styles?

Love to you all xx

I found asos and next good for plus size maternity stuff. I preferred under bump in the beginning and over bump later on.

Asda is worth a look too, I got a coat off there for £35 to see me through the winter, I was due January. Congratulations!

Dorothy perkins in my opinion had the nicest stuff. Can't remember what size they go to though.

I went for elasticated waists (skirts, mainly) and big t-shirts.

I've got some really comfy maternity leggings from Mothercare that are a 20 and a few tops the same size. I have a lovely dress I wore to a wedding that was from ASOS and Dorothy Perkins have a few nice bits in bigger sizes too. I struggle the most with maternity bras tbh but it depends how you're shaped. Congrats and all the best with the rest of your pregnancy.

Debenhams have a sale on at moment, I got some really cheap dresses and tops. Few things I ordered didn’t have my size so chances next size up but were bit too big unfortunately. They had loads of things in sizes 20-24. I definitely prefer over bump, much comfier and holds stomach in when there is more than just baby bump there, if I wore under bump I’d have belly sag Blush

Another vote for over the bump!
I'm a similar size and I've found ASOS maternity leggings and H&M maternity jean's the best.
I've not had much luck with maternity tops as felt quite frumpy in them all, got a couple of tshirts from ASOS but aside from that I've stuck with my XL stretchy vest tops from H&M and just bought a size up in normal range clothes, mainly ASOS and H&M and New Look

Asda does good stuff (sizes tend to be out of stock quickly though) I got some really cheap work trousers from there (also a teacher). Next had some decent work trousers too but I found the cheaper asda ones better as i work with little ones and I couldn't afford enough pairs of the next ones! With tops I've mainly worn oversized t-shirts or dresses with leggings rather than maternity tops (yours does loads of long tops). I definitely prefer over the bump, the under bump trousers drive me nuts and got really uncomfortable after about 24 weeks!

Thank you all, lots of websites to look at :) think I’m also going to go with over-bump!

I’m only 4+4 but this bloat makes me look 4 months 🤦‍♀️ My leggings are uncomfortable already but I feel like it’s far too early to consider maternity clothes when it’s bloat and not baby!
