Off there tomorrow to get some holiday clothes and wondering if I can grab some bargains there for DD due in November?

Honestly - useless. Everything shrinks in the wash. If you want value for money Next or George at Asda. Both wash really well

I find Primary sleepsuits excellent. They haven’t shrunk (and we use a dryer too) and haven’t washed out. They’re also very well designed for practicality. They’ve been my favourite.

I've found the primark stuff pretty good, they do shrink slightly after a lot of tumble drying but they have lasted as long for me as supermarket equivalents.
The leggings seem to be smaller than average though, my DD was in 3-6 primark leggings by about 8 weeks.

Thanks all! Definitely gonna pick up a few bits

Primark muslins are brilliant!! Soft, silky and have very cute patterns that baby loves looking at. Was extremely surprised. Out of the huge range of muslins I bought, only ended up using Primark and Aden&Anais ones.

The blankets in primark are lovely. I was looking for a soft white blanket to take to the hospital with me, the one in debenhans that I almost bought was £20 but I found an identical one in primark for £8. It's washed really well over the past year and half.
I also use the primark vests and found them good quality. They are sized quite big though.

Primark clothes brought my babies out in dreadful eczema, even after they had been washed.

PantsyMcPantsface · 16/07/2019 17:04

I used to find (was a few years ago now) that their babygros were very long in the legs and short in the body... which since DD1 seems to be part giraffe-child worked bloody well!

Bobbiepin · 16/07/2019 17:08

Asda or Sainaburys are much better IMO. Wait for their 25% off Tu sale and stock up. Most of dd's clothes come from Sainos now.

blackcat86 · 16/07/2019 17:20

I love primark but dont buy baby clothes there. They come up really small and damage easily. You would be better off at asda or sainsburys, or better yet check out Facebook market place for second hand bundles. Most of DDs stuff has come from sainsburys, m&s or m&co.

JoJoSM2 · 16/07/2019 20:06

Oh yes, our favourite muslins are from Primark too.

RollOnSummerBreak · 16/07/2019 22:46

Glad I looked at this. My dd uses muslins as comforter.. We go thro loads. She'll only relate to plain white tho may look in their for some
She didn't like the sai sburys ones.

Due in Jan so once we find out sex we can buy the specific color to stop confusion.

Ps the vests I find are good. That's all I've ever got in primark but always get next size up

goldeline · 17/07/2019 02:26

I bought a few sets of vests and babygros for DS and all of them had faulty or missing poppers. Not sure if I just got unlucky but I don't think I'll bother shopping there this time around!
