Made to it 12 weeks ... nausea is getting worse??

I'm 12 weeks today (yay!) but can't really mark the occasion just yet as my scan isn't until Wednesday.

The thing that's getting me is my sickness and nausea have actually gotten worse since Friday, up until now I've gotten away with throwing up once a day but now it's twice a day and I felt so sick yesterday I spent the whole day in bed.

Not really looking for anything just needed to rant (ironically had to run the loo to be sick whilst writing this!!) Is this a "it gets worse before it gets better" type thing??

I was throwing up until I was about 16 weeks. It started about week 9 but got worse and worse until I was signed off work as I was being sick about 8 times a day and feeling awful.

I'm now 25w and sickness free (fingers crossed it stays that way).

Up until about 8 weeks I had only been sick once but had plenty of nausea. But since about 10 weeks I've been sick so much more and I hate it. I'm now 11+3 and can't wait for this to be over. Like you, I feel it's getting worse, not better!

Have had morning sickness since 6 weeks and I’m 33 weeks now and it’s still going!

Mine got markedly worse at 10/11 weeks and between 12 and 16 weeks was the worst. I was under a lot of stress which I think might have made it worse.

After around 22 weeks it tailed off a bit (throwing up every other day instead of every day) and now it’s got to the point where it’s manageable. It doesn’t bother me as much as it did before, my body seems to have just got used to it.

Mine didn't get better till 16 weeks. More or less gone by 20. I think you need to brace yourself for another 4 weeks unfortunately
