I am 29 weeks and been having period type cramps all day. Could this be Brixton hicks?

As you are not 37 weeks you need to ring maternity triage or your hospital for advice. Braxton hicks are not painful but period type pain can be normal in pregnancy.

I'm 30 weeks and having BH but they don't feel like period pain - they're around the bump like a stitch rather than in my vagina like period pain. It's probably just a stretching pain but definitely get maternity triage to check for you. My DH was born at 30 weeks! X
