Am 27weeks, had slight brown discharge yesterday but didn't worry too much. Have been having BH all day today and now think I just lost/passed my mucus plug. Is this bad or can pregnancy still go ahead as normal without plug? Anyone had any experience of this?

(if it makes any difference, this is my second child)

TIA

thank you all for all your thoughts and kind words.

I wasn't alone when he arrived, DH was with me (and DS was in the other room, thank goodness). We did get SANDS leaflets from the hospital but I only glanced at them.

Just so many emotions but we'll get through it. We did spend time with him though which really helped I think. We took photos and the hospital made a cot tag thing and a wristband which was really nice.

Really do appreciate everyone's messages, means a lot to me.
