Flying whilst pregnant

I'm going to Tenerife in 2 weeks and so so worried about flying now that I'm pregnant! I'll only be 23 weeks so don't need a fit to fly letter but does anyone have any advice? Is it definitely safe to fly whilst pregnant and what is best to do on the plane?!

Thank you:)

It is safe to fly while pregnant. Keep well hydrated and do lots of exercises for your feet. Although you don't need a fit to fly I would still get a letter from your midwife to confirm that you are only 23 weeks pregnant. Or at least have your notes handy in case they do query it as they may not want to take your word for it. Many women don't get asked, even later on in pregnancy but lots of women do.

Wear compression stockings.

Absolutely do not take the NHS up on their advice to walk about as much as you can. Keep your seatbelt firmly on unless you really have to unfasten it (to go to the loo)
