I had my first baby at 38 and have always wanted 4 children. I was wondering if any other MN's started producing at my age and have managed to have a family of 4 children (or more!)

I'm 40 now, had my first son at 33, next at 35, acquired a step-daughter the same age as my eldest son at 38 - and am currently trying for at least one, possibly two more. I will decide on the latter aftering seeing what its like with one more - but don't like the idea of having one 'alone' because the age gap will be around six years if I conceive and remain pregnant in the next few months.
