Bleeding 29 weeks advice

Ok sorry this is probably going to be a little long. so this started on Thursday all throughout the day when I was getting lots of tight stomach cramps. At around 11 that night I went for a wee and noticed some bright red blood on the tissue. At around 12 I noticed there was lots of green discharge coming out of my vagina. I then went to the labour ward and they did a very painful speculum but told me that they couldn't see my cervix past the discharge. They took swabs and gave me thrush threatment for the discharge and sent me away. I was told just to keep an eye on the pain and the bleeding and to go back if I was losing blood like a period.

Yesterday I was still in pain and only had little bits of spotting until I went for a poop (sorry to be tmi but I wasn't really pushing as my poop was very soft) when I noticed an increase in the blood. Today I have only had a little pain and no spotting but I have just been for a poop (again soft) and noticed lots of dull sort of fleshy tinged blood.

I'm not quite sure whether I should be getting back in touch or just trust that this is all to do with the thrush and leave it. I just feel like something is not right and surely this can't all be caused by thrush. Please let me know what you think or share any stories that might be helpful. Thank you x

Hi,

Hope you are ok, I know how scary it is bleeding during pregnancy. Personally I would go back up and get checked. Did they do a scan last time? Or hook you up to the machine?

Yh they put me on the monitor but there were no tightenings and her heartbeat was normal all the way through. I know that speculums can cause bleeding so I'm not sure whether that is the cause or not. I am now also in a lot of pain at the bottom of my stomach and back again
