Hi there lovelies! In a bit of a panic. I’m due to have my dating scan on Monday (today is Saturday). I’ve been absolutely fine up until today. I came back from the park with my two boys, went to the toilet and noticed some blood, bright red like a period, and also some brownish discharge in my knickers. I went to A&E, and when I went to do a urine sample I noticed a small, stringy, dark clot on my pad (sorry if TMI) They called me through straight away and sent me up to the early pregnancy section. Still haven’t had any pain at this point. The midwife had a look at the clot which I had kept and said it was unlikely to be what I thought. Where my first scan is too near, they didn’t want to do a scan because it’s risky to have a lot of radiation in a short time. She went to ask the person above her, while waiting I checked myself again and noticed two more clots and bright red blood. When they came back I told her and she said she would do an internal exam. She checked and said there is a very large clot up there but my cervix is completely closed, which is a good sign. But she can’t tell me for certain until Mondays scan is done 🤷🏻♀️ Has anyone else had similar? X
