Holiday early pregnancy

Okay so me and my fiancé have booked to go to Las Vegas in two weeks time (we plan to get married there). I will be about 10 weeks pregnant and the weather is going to be 40 degrees. Is this too hot in early pregnancy?

When we booked the holiday we didn't know I was pregnant, my fiancé is in the forces and on a 6 month tour so is only home for 2 weeks and then I won't see him again until Christmas! So we were really looking forward to getting away and getting married.

Obviously I will take precautions such as wear high spf, hat, no sunbathing, no exerting myself, stay hydrated etc.

What do people think? Will I be okay? Is there any risk?

I've been away in both of my pregnancies to hot countries. You'll be fine. Just be sensible. Lots of sun cream, stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day, lots and lots of water!

On the plane, wear the sexy dvt socks, walk around a lot and drink plenty of water!

The good thing about Vegas is there is so much to do indoors you'll be fine, then night time will be cooler and there is loads to see at night!

And congratulations!

Oh and make sure your travel insurance is all in order. Not wanting to be doom and gloom but should you need any hospital treatment it could potentially cost you $$$$ out there.

You'll spend most of your time in doors in the air con anyway so you'll be fine! Make sure you go to the burger restaurant in Mandalay bay, I still dream about that place!
