GTT results: how long until you got your results?

I had my Glucose tolerance test today and just wondering if anybody got a positive result and how quickly did you get informed? I’ve convinced myself I have it and it’s driving me mad!! Thanks.

I phoned later that day, they told me to wait but I explained I was super anxious plus a MW friend said they would know the results way sooner than the, I think, 5-7 days they told me as they're done in house. Might be different in different hospitals but they told me my results and I just expressed my gratitude.
Hope yours is clear. It's a stressful time.

Mine was clear though, ie I didn't have GDM, so not sure if that mde a difference.

My hospital told me to ring up next morning and write 2 numbers in my notes, and that my midwife would explain them at my next appointment.

Thanks ladies. I’ve heard people getting phone calls the next day if they have it and others waiting days/week for the results. Hoping I don’t hear nothing over the weekend and on Monday I have a midwife appointment where hopefully I get good news.

Mine said I would hear the next day if there was an issue and not at all if all clear. Never heard back from them.

Our hospital contact you by 5pm same day if its positive. We tell people no news is good news, i.e. if you haven't been contacted by 5pm you haven't got diabetes.
