Bleeding with cramps @ 10wks

Hi Everyone,
This is my first ever post on here so please bare with me! I'm currently 10wks 5 days pregnant. This is my third pregnancy after 2 previous miscarriages.

I have been diagnosed with Anti-Phospholipid Syndrome and I'm currently on fragmin injections.

I had a bleed around 6 weeks and instantly thought the worst, thankfully after 2 scans at the EPU I saw my little baby growing with a heartbeat :) They said I had a small bleed next to the sac but it was never really mentioned again and they discharged me.
Fast forward to now... I began to have a slight bleed on Sunday, so instantly went to my GP who said she wasn't worried about it and said its common at this stage for women on blood thinners to have a bleed.. so I felt slightly better. By Tuesday night the bleeding had increased and I began to have cramps, on Wednesday it felt like I was on my period. I went back to the GP on Thursday, she was an on call doctor and was probably the most unpleasant doctor I've ever seen, she didn't really listen to any of my concerns, she just instantly told me I was having a miscarriage and said I clearly have problems keeping a pregnancy and to consider seeing a specialist etc etc. She reluctantly called the EPU unit who can't see me until next week. I have passed some small clots, extremely small and only noticed them once.

Sorry its such a long post, I just wondered if anyone has had this experience and it not ending badly? I'm expecting the worse but praying for the best!

Thankyou :)

@Angelinthenightx thank you so much. Yes when she called me later than afternoon to tell my scan appointment time you could just hear how little she cared in her voice. I left and just burst into tears, don't know how I'm going to cope if it's a third loss. I'm trying to stay positive but it's really hard :( xx

Hello

What an insensitive and horrible doctor. Sorry you had to go through that.

I don’t have any personal experience of bleeding other than miscarrying so I understand your worries to some extent. It is very hard to stay positive sometimes, but you’re doing so well.

When is your scan? It feels very unfair that they’re making you wait after what you’ve been through previously.

Sorry I can’t help more, please keep on at them if you’re worried and see if things can be brought forward. It is certainly not fair to keep you waiting at a time when you need reassurance.

Got everything crossed for you x

So sorry but it def sounds like a miscarriage. But you know this really don’t you. You don’t need a scan next week to tell you that. Look after yourself Flowers

@Fae1989 thankyou:) my scan is 8:45, unfortunately the unit at the hospital will not change your appointment and will only really speak to the GP, not sure whether that’s the norm or just the protocol this hospital has. All they have said is that if it does get worse to go straight to a&e. So I’ll just have to see how this weekend goes :(

@AtSea1979 yes I’m almost 99% sure that it is indeed a miscarriage but I’m trying to have some hope as stupid as that sounds. I’m more worried about the bleeding as I’m on blood thinners but as I said above if it gets any worse I’ll go to my local a&e!
