Constant upset stomach in first trimester?

Since I found out I was pregnant, I’ve had a dodgy stomach. I do get horribly upset stomach around the time of my period usually and am quite sensitive to some foods, but this has been pretty consistent the whole three months so far.
I’ve now hit the second trimester and was expecting it to ease off but it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Is this normal? Is it just down to hormones?
I don’t know whether it’s something I should get checked out or not.

"Morning" (all day!) sickness is normal

some people get it for longer than the 1st trimester

It’s less the sickness and more the other end Blush the sickness has now completely eased off but the upset stomach has got worse!

I had this too pretty much my whole first trimester, same as you I would always have had dodgy stomach around period times. It eased off at around 16 weeks tho, I’m 29 weeks now and fine. hope you feel better soon.

I had this - would suddenly feel really hot and sweaty and would have terrible diarrhoea. I didn't have this with my other pregnancies. Turns out it's a girl

this is sooo me! in previous pregnancies, ive always been constipated - this one - total opposite andmy tummy is upset no matter what i eat. hoping is passes too.

I had this with this pregnancy, but not the previous two (one boy, one girl...). Cutting out dairy completely sorted it for me (and stopped the heartburn). Not too happy about cutting out a whole food group, but every time I try to bring it back I'm back to square 1...

@Bellasblankexpression- I’ve also had a on/off upset stomach since the begginning. I’m 18 weeks today and still getting it, the baby is fine. I’m eating and drinking ok so I’m not worrying about it. Just an annoyance xx

I am 22 weeks and have been the same from the beginning. Seems to have started to ease of a little now, but somehow seems a little worse when it's intermittent because even a fart begins to feel a bit risky Blush

Thanks everyone, makes me feel a bit better. I'm feeling quite rough with it today, and it doesn't seem to matter what I eat so it's reassuring others have experienced the same.
Hoping it doesn't go on for the whole of the pregnancy, but then I'll probably end up with the dreaded constipation instead!
