Car seat query!

Hi! Posted this on Parenting but wondered if any pregnant ladies had any thoughts as it is car seat related!!

I'm looking to buy the Mothercare Journey pram with the car seat and it's currently in the sale! The problem is, we are in the process of changing our car! We're getting a Kia Rio hatchback and I'm not 100% sure if the seat will fit. Does anyone know if they are compatible? I'm thinking of getting it and returning it if it doesn't fit, but not sure they'd let me so would obviously ask in the shop before doing that!

Any advice or recommendations will be welcome! Thanks all xx

@Fivebyfive2 well it doesn't come with a base so will be seat belted in so 99% sure it will fit... just ask in the store though x

Mothercare will be able to tell you if it fits if you tell them the make and model of the car. They will not accept returns (unless defective or recalled) without the original packaging.

It isn’t isofix and uses a seatbelt...
this is from their website
“group 0+ car seat is suitable from birth to 13kg (12-15 months), and attaches to the journey chassis using included adaptors; this is a universal car seat that is compatible with most cars and does not require a fitting list – please visit your nearest mothercare store for a demonstration and car fitting”

Mothercare were really helpful when we bought a car seat recently.. ours was for our toddler & to take on holiday with us. We knew we’d get one of 3 vehicles from the hire company in Spain & they looked up whether the seat would work with them all (answer was yes).. I get the impression they fit in most cars. This seat fitted our small Fiesta & a Quasqai & Sportarge and my mums medium sized Kia Venga..

Def worth asking them, plus they show you how to fit the seat which was very helpful!
