Am I pregnant?

My cycle is usually every 27-28 days, it’s now 8 days late. It’s never late. I have taken 2 pregnancy test but both came up negative. Has this happened to anyone? Can anyone offer some advice?

Do you track ovulation in any way? If so, do you know when you expected to have ovulated?

Have you been ill at all in the last few weeks, had any stress going on or even travelling away? These are all things that can delay ovulation and, with that, delay your period. At 8 days post expected period you’d reckon on getting a strong positive pregnancy test result if you had ovulated on time. What brand of tests have you been using?
