1 week or less! I’m 41 weeks. Exciting / nerve wracking!

Capybaras · 11/07/2019 09:56

40+2 - I'm hoping I have less than a week left!

Nobhobs · 11/07/2019 10:11

Ooh bless you both!! I'm only 38 weeks and the thought of another week until my section is killing me so I don't know how you're coping. The days are so long!! The only perk to a very stubbornly breech baby is atleast knowing when it will all be over Blush

Yeah that must be so nice to know that there is an end in sight (although obv would be nicer if baby was behaving themselves!)

Feeling quite breathless and irritable today on top of mild period pains so hoping we're getting somewhere!

Nobhobs · 11/07/2019 11:05

Fingers crossed for you!! Must be so exciting when things start gearing up. I'm still mourning the natural birth I thought I'd have, labour was the one part of all of this I wasn't scared of! I was quite excited (very obviously a first time mum Grin)

I'm a first-timer too and excited for labour too! (Im sure this will change after 😂). It's a shame that choice has been taken from you but at least you know baby will get here safely. Must be so odd knowing when baby is coming, hope you're making the most of your time off.

BellaNutella88 · 11/07/2019 15:46

Me to! Well a week give or take as I’m being induced in one week unless baby comes early ! Excited :-)

MakeAWhish · 13/07/2019 12:37

My c section is on Wednesday! Can't believe it's only 4 days to go. I'll be 38 weeks exactly, but baby is big and I have GD so consultant wants him out. This is DC3, and I went to 42 weeks with DC1 and 2 so this is all new to me.

Nobhobs · 14/07/2019 13:56

Ah how exciting for you all!! 4 more days until my section on Thursday Grin so far today I've unpacked and repacked the hospital bags about 3 times, washed and ironed all the brand new baby clothes for no reason whatsoever and filled in all the pregnancy parts of a bump to baby book someone got me.... I just don't know how to kill anymore time!! I want him here now!!

C section booked for next Wednesday but I’m hoping she comes earlier so I can try for a vbac.

Nobhobs · 15/07/2019 08:53

Congrats @hormonesorDHbeingadick how are you feeling?! I'm wobbling between excited and terrified!

I’m OK. You can look after my toddler if you want something to fill your time. I’m going to update labour and c section plans tonight and check over hospital bags.

There is no sign of this baby moving out of her own accord.

Shellyd2k1 · 15/07/2019 21:08

Hi! I'm booked in for section on Thursday too .... had an emergency section with my first under GA so epidural & being awake will be all new to me! So anxious about it all!
Mixture of terrified but excited to meet baba - I'll be 38+6 weeks
Good luck guys! X

How did you all get on? My beautiful boy was born via c section on Wednesday, weighing a conservative 7lbs! Hope you're all well and enjoying baby cuddles.

Capybaras · 21/07/2019 03:46

Congratulations @MakeAWhish my little boy was born on the 14th! Had a precipitate labour so ended up coming really quickly!
