FTM help with pram and car seat. Silver cross pursuit!

So I’m 34 weeks FTM I have just ordered silver cross pursuit pram and pushchair along with the silver cross simplicity car seat. Now I may sound a little stupid but I’m so confused when it comes to isofix based google doesn’t seem to help me! I am just wondering for anyone that has this car seat does silver cross simplifix base the only one that fits it or do any others? Not sure if it helps but have a 2019 Volvo XC90 in case there are different sizes or something? Please help I’m so lost! I tried asking on the phone to mothercare but they could not understand me, maybe the Irish accent is too strong! Thanks in advance ladies.

Can you get to a Halfords? They will show you how to fit it.

Will they also know there what bases fit the car seat? None local to me but willing to make the journey for this!

Surely SilverCtoss have a helpline that would advise on what base goes with what seat?
Your Volvo dealership will advise what seat goes best with your car before ordering - there is generally only one size of base.

I have the simplicity car seat, I’m pretty sure the only isofix it will go on it the silver cross one which is what we have.

It'll be the simplicity car seat & their SC isofix base, we've just bought the pioneer travel system and that comes with that. If you go to a Mothercare, they'll test the bases in your car, we were offered this when we first bought ours

Simplicity car seat needs the specific base. I got. My base in boots was much cheaper as had an offer.

Yes it only fits in the Silver Cross base, and they don't do the next stage car seats so it can't be used again or for another seat. We got ours from the pram shop and they fitted it for us. Mothercare also do car seat fitting. Boots sometimes have good deals on the bases and you get advantage points (quite a few too if you sign up to their parenting club) but they dont fit them.
