28 week blood tests

Hi everyone,

This may sound really stupid so apologies if so but I'm due my 28 week blood tests this week and was going to go tomorrow. I have my normal blood test form in my folder aswell as a blood transfusion request form. Do I need to do anything with the blood transfusion form also? I only ask as in the reason for transfusion it says 28/40? I have attached a pic. Is this so they can test my blood incase I end up needing a transfusion or should I just leave this alone?

They will re-check your blood group (will have been done already at booking) to check if you’ve developed any antibodies; that sample will go with the transfusion form so take it with you.
