Hello everyone Smile
I'm currently 32weeks + 4 with my first - a little boy and I'm really excited just not for the labour yet aren't we all
The only dampener on the situation is a couple months after announcing to my family that we were pregnant, a rather large shock to us anyway, conveniently my sister who has always been mums favourite just happened to get pregnant.
I'm not usually a bitter person, I'm used to my mum always preferring her but recently it's starting to grind on my gears a little more than usual, I find her giving me filthy looks and snapping occasionally when we talk about ideas for the nursery etc.
Is it just my hormones causing me to be annoyed with her or is the way I'm feeling warranted?

Yeah you are

No sorry you're being ridiculous and sound very bitter and jealous. Hormones don't help and I'm sure the feelings will pass once your niece/nephew is born.

Doubt she didn’t on purpose.

Try see it as a positive situation, they will have a wee pal to play with growing up and you'll probably become closer with your sister through the process!

This sounds more like a relationship issue with your sister rather than the fact you’re both pregnant at the same time. So I’m not going to call you bitter or ridiculous. I don’t think the baby is the thing here, hormones are definitely all over the place and all parties are hyper sensitive. Is it a good idea to get it out in the open and start afresh?
