Whenever I’m in the pregnancy topic, the ad down the right hand side is for gaviscon - pretty well targeted I guess. But it’s a bloke in the ad, which drives me round the bend! No, beardy man in your stripy pyjamas, I don’t have any sympathy for your heartburn, which was probably brought on by a big curry and will be better tomorrow - COS I HAVE IT ALL THE FECKING TIME!

Yes, I know I am being unreasonable (but also not, because I’m 30 weeks and therefore perfectly justified).

I don't understand the advert with twins, one with heartburn and the other with indigestion. Why would they need to share medication?! Plot holes.

Haha this ad is on my page right now. I get the same one a lot and wondered what was bothering me about it and I think you've nailed it! I'd never had heartburn or reflux in my life until pregnancy but I'm guessing they wouldn't show a pregnant woman for legal reasons around testing etc. even though I bet we are the biggest consumers of these products!
