Whipped cream safe to eat?

Currently 25 weeks pregnant!
Realised up until now I’ve constantly been having whipped cream mostly from
Cafes on milkshakes or from places like
Costa and Starbucks on frappes is this safe and okay to have? I’m assuming the creams would be pasteurised since they’re chain places and not like a farm cafe or anything?

Of course it's ok. They'd have to state if it was unpasteurised

It’s fine as it will be pasteurised.

My midwife said to avoid milkshakes, cream & ice cream that comes out of a machine because of the risk that they're not cleaned properly which can cause bacteria to build up. If it's out of a can it's probably fine but if it's milkshake straight out of a machine (rather than all handmixed) her advice was to avoid.

No all the milkshakes I’ve had were made from ice cream milk and syrup then made in a blender! And whipped cream was from a can!

Your midwife is telling you info that isn't on the nhs avoid list and sounds like she is being overcautious
