Hi all

Just wondered if anybody had any tips or advice. I am 8+4 and going away on holiday this evening for a week. It's a scorching 40+ degrees.

I know I won't be sat out in the sun all day and will be sure to stay hydrated and in the shade. But just wondered if there was any tips anybody could give me or just advice to keep in mind whilst I am out there. The flight itself is just over 7 hours.

I am a little worried about flying whilst pregnant although I have read plenty of stories of women flying throughout their pregnancy's which is reassuring!

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated 😊

I drove back from Portugal at 37 weeks. Bikini and pool are your friends!
And a big hat!!

Make sure to schedule in a siesta everyday. It's tiring being 8 weeks pregnant and even more so in the heat

I was in this kind of heat at 8 weeks pregnant and it was quite challenging - loose and comfy clothes and lots of water!

I was 6 weeks pregnant when I travelled somewhere with +40 degrees.
Definitely wear a hat at all times and loose clothing will help a lot as well. I got so bloated and swolled due to heat that had to buy new clothes. None of the bottoms I took from home fit me.

Why are you worried about flying while pregnant? It's fine.

Thank you all for the advice and tips 😊 I'll be sure to take them on board!

Have a great, great holiday kid it is the last free guilt-free one you will have for the next 19 years lol. Remember it well in a way one of the best times of your life but I would not swap places with you for all the Chardonnay in Australia xoxoxo :)
