Scan at 23 weeks - if baby is a boy will it be obvious?

Currently pregnant with DC2 and dont want to find out the sex. I found out with DC1 but this time would love me and DP to find out at the birth.

At our 20 week scan the lady showed us all of the baby and nothing gave away the sex but we have to go back at 23 weeks as she couldn’t do all the checks due to baby’s awkward positioning.

When we were talking to the Sonographer she was saying that sometimes as baby’s get bigger it can be obvious when a baby is a boy. She was telling us this before we knew we had to go back at 23 weeks so I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a scan at 23 weeks and managed to not see the sex of the baby? Not that I know what I’d be looking for because on scans I can’t tell the difference between a hand and a leg!

I remember DS’ bits being very obvious at our 20 week scan but as we already knew he was a boy I imagine the Sonographer knew they didn’t need to be careful in that area!
