Hi ladies

I have just got my bfp this weekend so technically think I am about 1-2 weeks, so very early.

I have an under active thyroid and had a blood test about 3 weeks ago which showed that my levels were surprisingly now perfect. The doctor had told me to continue on 25g and then take another blood test after a few weeks.

I’ve been reading online and it says the thyroxine levels should be increased from 25-50mg... I have just made an appts for Friday but feeling really worried should I just start taking double dose until then. Anyone else been in a similar situation?

Hey I take 125 since being pregnant was on 100 but I didn't do it straight away an I'm now 19 weeks pregnant and everything is fine so far good luck and congratulations xx

Hey, in still on 100mg, my dose hasn't changed since getting pregnant. You'll see the dr who will refer you to a specialist consultant and they will advise you what to do, I didnt get see till I was about 14 weeks, so dont change anything until you see the consultant and they tell you. You'll need to have a blood test done for the consultant as well about a week before but your dr will advise you on all that. Dont panic, I'm nearly 19 weeks and have only seen the consultant once so far, it they were really concerned they would ask to see you sooner.

Thank you lovely ladies - I felt fine and suddenly feel so so anxious and panicked! We have conceived after 3 years of trying and I just really hope everything goes well!
Thank you for your messages- glad to see things didn’t have to be amended straight away and I am seeing the doctor Friday so hopefully she can advise. Thank You! ( I know I need to just relax!
