Hi all,

I’m going away in just over three weeks. I’ll be 20 weeks then. So Ill be hitting the no sleeping on your back period. So how long can I lay flat on a sun lounger for? Feel like it’s a silly question but relevant.

Can I book in for a normal massage? Lying on my sides? With someone who is not pregnancy massage trained?

I’m normally a big kid and I’m always on water slides ect but I think thats a defiant no no this year 😢. Could I still go on a jeep safari ? Very bumpy? And go carting/ quad biking?

Thanks x

You are only recommended not to sleep on your back as there is an artery that if you lay on back can squash it and makes you feel dizzy so as long as you feel ok your ok to lie on back, I was just on holiday from 21-23 weeks pregnant and was boiling so was constantly moving .
I wouldn’t have a normal massage as the oils and techniques they use not suitable, I went Cyprus and nearly aall the hotels there did a few mother to be specialised massages, which were lovely but not as good as a usual one, They had me laid on back first of all and then either side. I also had a facial where I was laid in my back for an hour, I got uncomfortable towards end so just turned on my side.
