I am suffering SO bad. I’m 19 weeks pregnant and haven’t taken any antihistamines as I’m so unsure about what we can and can’t take. Anybody else struggling and what do you take?

Prevalin plus. Is drug free nasal spray. I suffer badly and usually on prescription meds. Pharmacy gave me Prevalin and I was v sceptical but it really has worked!

Doctors prescribed me allergy tablets, the ones that begin with a C.

Mine was for uncontrollable itching, but it is the same ingredient in hayfever tablets.

Ask your pharmacist and don't suffer on. Xx

The only thing the GP would approve for me was beconase nasal spray and eye drops on top of the prevalin. Use the beconase first then wait a few minutes then use the prevalin. I was surprised at how good the prevalin is too. Other than that I'm drying washing inside, washing my face regularly, showering and staying inside which to be honest has been a relief as it's been so hot here!

Beconaise nasal spray.. there's also this "HayMax" balm that you put under your nose/eyes that is meant to block the pollen. It definitely hasn't completely stopped it but has helped. Boots and H&B sell it.

GP said I should be aiming for bearable hay fever symptoms whilst pregnant rather than trying to get rid completely as nothing will touch what I normally take. Hope you find something that works!!

You need the drs advice really, when I was pregnant the otc ones said not to take in the first three or the last six months of pregnancy 🤷‍♀️

My dr said it was fine they just cant test medication on pregnant women for obvious reasons
