Baby no 5 😮😮

Hi there it's been a while since I've been on here. Today I have just discovered I'm pregnant with baby no 5. I'm 41 in two days time, already have 16, 14, 6 and 5 years old children. It's a huge shock just wondering if I'm too old? Wasn't planned, I'm in mixed feelings, but don't agree with getting rid, couldn't live with myself.

Any older mums?

I had my DD at 42. My age wasn't a problem during pregnancy and I didn't feel any more/ less tired than the younger mums in my NCT group.

Only you can decide if you want to go ahead with the pregnancy, but you're definitely not too old.

My stepsister had her first baby at 43, I had my first at 23 (20 year difference!) and you know what, she had a much easier pregnancy than me - no complications, I had a load of issues!) She went on to have a second (and last) at 45 - again everything ran smoothly.

Of course it's up to you - but just know you're not too old at all!

Im 39 and 22wks pregnant with baby no.6 my oldest is 21 and youngest is 6,i dont feel too old ,i will be 40 when she gets here. We are getting excited now cant wait to meet her. I have had a bit of pain during this pregnancy but we have a healthy baby no extra tests etc for downs or anything so just because we are older doesnt mean that we will need extra testing.x

I am only 31 but expecting dc5, 32 weeks. This pregnancy has been so hard on my body. My everything hurts.

I'm 40 in a week and 36wks with number 4.
My others are 18,9 and 8.
In all honesty this has been the easiest of all my pregnancies, emotionally and physically. Less heartburn, no PGD while I had it with 2 and 3.

The only downside I have had is due to my age, bmi and this being number 4, I've had to take Fragmin injections, which I've found out I'm allergic to.
