Sharp stabbing pain

I am 10+4 and past few days I’ve been getting a short stabbing pain in my pubic area on the right hand side. It’s definitely not unbearable and doesn’t last long. Has anyone experienced this? I just wondered what it is. I don’t think it’s anything bad. Just wondering though!

Have you been constipated recently?

Any unexplained pain in pregnancy needs to be checked. Do you have a early pregnancy unit or a drop in centre near you?

Yes had them myself. Not so much more as a few weeks ago. (Am 17 weeks). According to google it's just your womb/pelvis having growth spurts. I want worried as they weren't painful, just weird. And it wasn't often. Mostly i think due to whatever position or activity i was doing.

I’m sure it’s just stretching pains I honestly am not really worried about it. It lasts like 2 seconds then goes away and I can feel it more when I’m being sick (got severe nausea and vomiting). I’ve got my scan next week so hopefully will see everything is ok then! Just wondered if anyone had it before.

Round ligament pain? From around 12 weeks I got this every time I got up off the sofa or out of a car. Felt like a stitch in my pelvic area to either side, only lasted 30 seconds max. If you’re worried get checked over (as with any other preggo worries, midwives would always prefer to give the all clear than miss something!) but if the pain goes away quickly then growing pains and stretching are usually to blame.

@afternoontwee Yeah it’s like a stitch but it goes away! It’s not constant that’s why I wasn’t too worried and again it’s not painful just feels slightly uncomfortable. I did think it might be stretching. Thank you!

Id say the same ligament pain, i had it for 4wks constant was at the hospital 3x with it. I bought a pregnancy belt & pregnancy pillow these have helped me.
I got told i may have this pain off & on until i give birth.
If your worried then i would just give midwife a call x
