Vitamin supplements

I'm now 30+5 weeks and I don't take any vitamin supplements and starting to feel as though I should have been.

I took folic acid for the first 12 weeks but didn't even think to carry anything on.

The last couple a days people have looked at me horrified when I said I haven't been taking any supplements since week 12.

Does everyone else take them!?

I take vitamin D but that's it.

You only need to take vitamin D (although I also took iron and omega, but thats because I'm vegetarian)

Yep. Has your midwife not mentioned them. It’s more for your benefit as your baby will have raided all your vitamin and minerals stores.

Nope. Haven't taken anything since 12 weeks. Midwife just suggested vitamin d.

I’ve only taken high dose vitamin D and folic acid (for existing medical conditions) and am 27+3 at the moment. My bloods done at both 11 and 24 weeks were fine for iron and vitamin levels so I’ve been advised my diet is sufficient to not need them. If you’ve not been advised to take additional supplements by your midwife I wouldn’t worry.
