Hi everyone, me and my husband have just found out our first round of ivf was successful and have a scan booked for 25th july. We were ttc for 4 years so over the moon with the result, we had two embryos implanted so hoping they are both still in there 🙏 I've had a bit of cramping over the last 2 weeks since we implanted and tonight there has been some spotting, only when I wipe, I'm trying not to panic but am really worried, anyone else had this? X

Just found out a last Friday that our first round of IVF was successful. Our scan is 17th and I’m sooooo nervous. I haven’t had any spotting but it was such a surprise to get a bfp. I’m just trying to view this bit as another period of waiting until we know if it is really successful. I’m very scared though as I feel like if the scan is not good news it will be much harder to deal with. Arg sorry - not much help but I know how this extra bit of waiting after what feels already like along journey is like. Fingers crossed that everything works out for you!

I am currently 21+3 with my IVF baby; worked first time for me too.
Are you on pessaries/vaginal gel? Could your spotting be to do with that? I remember having what I thought was brown spotting, but when I googled and re-read the clinic's FAQ page, it said that the discharge caused by the vaginal gel can sometimes be brown/discolored. I've screenshot the page for you.
