Hi all,

I am pregnant again after 2 mc's one at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks, i feel the exact same as I did in my previous 2 pregnancies and i am so scared this one is going to end in a mc! I didnt have a period inbetween this one, I miscarried at the end of April has anyone felt the same when becoming pregnant again and had a successful pregnancy?

Yes, my third pregnancy is currently four months old and wiggling about in her bouncer in front of me

Rmac90 · 05/07/2019 19:08

@IDontDrinkTea aww thats lovely news congrats! Did you do anything different this time around? The doctor is unsure how far gone i am but thinks i might be 6/7 weeks, i never got any morning sickness with any of the pregnancies just "feeling sick" which gets me worrying all the time every twinge or pain i get i automatically think "here we go again"

Hi OP, firstly congratulations! I conceived after 2 miscarriages. 1 @ 12+6 and a MMC found out at my 12 week scan baby has stopped developing around 9 weeks. After first miscarriage I was desperate

LilliesMummyx · 06/07/2019 12:11

To conceive again, but when 2nd pregnancy ended in miscarriage I decided I couldn't go through the heartache again and stopped trying. I conceived 3 months later, my DD is now 3 approaching 4, full of sas and attitude! Rainbow baby's do exist! I'm now 14weeks into another pregnancy and was still convinced throughout the first 12 weeks it would all happen again! But so far so good! Xx
Try to relax - I know easier said than done!
What's meant to be will be. Sending lots of baby dust your way, sticky beans for all xxx

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant after 2 mc's, this pregnancy is following my 2nd mc without a period....I took 75mg aspirin daily during this pregnancy...there are a few threads on here about it....I'll never know it it's made any difference though...lots of love and luck x

Rmac90 · 06/07/2019 18:17

@LJS8987 aww amazing news! Do you feel different with this pregnancy? I mentioned aspirin to my doctor and she said she wouldn't recommend it because i have had 2 mc's but i have read loads of stories on it x

@LJS8987 hi sorry to jump in, when did you start taking the aspirin?

Feistytiger24 · 06/07/2019 19:32

Hi, I had one miscarriage and an eptopic pregnancy. We also have a 15 month old and another due next month. I didn't do much different I jst know I was healthier both in mind and in body. But yes after a few miscarriage we have had two healthy pregnancys. Good luck

Rmac90 · 06/07/2019 19:51

@Feistytiger24 aww congrats! Did you feel different in the pregnancies that were successful or the same? If that makes sense, I just feel the same as i did in my last 2 pregnancies so i am really worried this one is going the same way

Feistytiger24 · 06/07/2019 20:13

With the miscarriage I knew it wasn't going very well but I also knew that I was stressed and was very pessimistic. With the eptopic I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was in hospital preparing for emergency theatre. I was worried with my third chance as of previous experience and had lots of symptoms early on like neausea and tiredness but it got better but I was worried for a long while it wasn't real. After that was fine this pregnancy has been much easier. Honestly it's hard to tell as each one is different, its hard not to worry about it. X

Rmac90 · 06/07/2019 20:17

@Feistytiger24 aww really i do have pregnancy symptoms like tiredness sore breasts feeling sick (but not actually being sick) i have the midwife on friday so I am going to ask her about the aspirin, my doctor said not to take it but loads of people who have had mc's take it 🤷🏻‍♀️ time is just dragging at the minute! Xx

I had 2 miscarriages. One missed at 8 weeks and then another at 6 weeks. Fell pregnant for a third time currently cuddling my 7 week old baby boy. Have faith it does happen I promise.

Best thing I did when I was pregnant was nothing especially at the beginning I let my body completely relax easier said than done but I just didn’t put any strain on my self and I swear that’s what helped me keep my baby

JPK1510 · 06/07/2019 20:19

I was also on 5mg folic acid and baby aspirin x

Pinkflower23 · 06/07/2019 20:25

I had two miscarriages, both at 12 weeks. I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant now. It feels and sounds so weird as I’m counting up the weeks because I never thought I could make it this far along. I also had spotting when I was 11 weeks and convinced myself I was miscarrying as this is how my last two started along with back pain. Everything turned out fine.

Good luck xxx

Rmac90 · 06/07/2019 20:32

@JPK1510 i have been relaxing since i found out although we are still unsure how far gone i am 🤷🏻‍♀️ hopefully i will get an earlier pregnancy scan just for reassurance! Its the longest wait ever! That is great news about your pregnancy hope you are keeping well :) x

@Pinkflower23 its so hard every pain or twinge you get you automatically think the worst! This is the stage i am at! Always googling things ect! Because i dont feel any different with this pregnancy i feel the same as i did with my other 2!

OP posts:
LJS8987 · 07/07/2019 08:59

It did feel different but I can't put my finger on how!
My GP advised not too but I started as soon as I found out and figured if it won't do any harm why stop?
I have a friend who is a GP who said if I was her patient she would have to tell me not to take it, however she understood why I did and said that if I'd had 3 and was under a specialist it was likely they would tell me to take it....if there was huge risks involved that meant I had to be monitored I would have probably taken them more seriously
