I got really emotional seeing people getting airlifted from floods on the news the other day, but watching those two last night didn't affect me at all. Weird really, usually anything about babies has me crying like a loon.

Idobelieveinfairies · 27/07/2007 20:03

gosh! have to say he was getting on my nerves, how many times did he say how proud he was of her????..lol

and the magic cream to numb the skin before injection...only meant for children i thought!!

bless!!

(liked her red spotty car seat though)

hayley2u · 27/07/2007 20:03

No, I can honestly say that I feel no emotion at all.

You're tired and emotional - it will pass

Idobelieveinfairies · 27/07/2007 20:04

awwww Hayley them hormones..lol

i guess its better to have someone like that than someone not giving a toss though ?!?!

hayley2u · 27/07/2007 20:06

i know think it was like were going to have our baby here soon.it did annoy me that not just family were there her hair dresser and everyone was there. felt bit sorry for that clare girl as bet it would not be like that when she has hers.

I hold my hands up, I got a bit teary eyed watching too but shhhh dont tell anyone! lol

I understand how she feels about the needles because i am exactly the same! I cry my eyes out like a 2 year old when im told its blood taking time

DirtyGertiefromnumber30 · 28/07/2007 12:03

which bit did you get teary eyed at?

I just saw them wheeling a bundle dwon the corridor whilst peter told the camera

"Thats all Folks! If you wanna meet the little one, tune in to the next series! Channel 4 9pm!"

hardly emotional stuff!!!

iliketosleep · 28/07/2007 12:47

when she was crying going down to theatre you could see how scared she was and how much she was trying to hold back the tears, my heart just went out to her

iliketosleep · 28/07/2007 12:48

chanel 4 9pm?? i didnt think the new series was out till autumn??

DirtyGertiefromnumber30 · 28/07/2007 12:52

oh sorry, words to that effect!

PurpleLostPrincess · 28/07/2007 23:25

I get emotional at any birth on tv as its always such a special thing. I'm not usually interested in celebrities but I've managed to catch a few of the episodes and Katie and Peter are so down to earth and normal (well, more than other celebs!).

I have to admit I wouldn't have been comfortable with all those people there but each to their own!

You go ahead and have a boo hayley2u, I cry at all sorts of things, even when I'm not pg!!

PLP xxx

MrsSpoon · 28/07/2007 23:31

I haven't seen this year (I've got it on my Sky + to watch ) but I just wanted to say that I'm so glad my hairdresser wasn't at either of my births!

MrsSpoon · 28/07/2007 23:31

"this year"???, I mean 'this yet'.

Biglips · 28/07/2007 23:33

i was getting sssssooooooo broody watching it!!

Biglips · 28/07/2007 23:33

i must ban myself from watching it !!!

tortoise · 28/07/2007 23:34

RedCherry · 28/07/2007 23:36
