Stretch mark tips

So my bump is protruding quite a bit now. I have a bit of an itchy rashy patch on the right. I’ve heard before that’s how stretch marks start from itching. Has anyone had this same experience or could it just be heat rash & any tips on how to keep stretch marks at bay or reduce them?

Stretch marks are unfortunately genetic, so if your mum had them, chances are you will get them. You can try things like bio oil etc, but they don't always work.

I can’t remember if she had them I think she did, with like tummy skin but I’m a lot slimmer than my mom was. I’m nearly 25 weeks and haven’t had any yet. I have some on my hips from puberty

I tried everything but nothing worked so the second time around i didn't bother wasting money on useless products that don't work, and i won't be this time either, just embrace them.. they fade a lot anyway, well mine did. :)

Nothing you can really do but I'd get a nice gentle moisturiser to stop your skin getting very itchy and dry. I'm covered in them but I wasn't surprised as I had them elsewhere since a puberty growth spurt.

My mum got stretch marks all over her bump, thighs, back, and back of knees. I also had stretch marks on hips and thighs quite badly from a very minimal teen growth spurt. I wore a secret saviour belly support band and used bio oil and neals yard mum tummy butter (can't remember the actual name) and I got no stretch marks. I put the oil and cream on at least twice a day and wore the band all day. I also drank 3-4 litres of water a day and I eat healthily with lots of fresh veg and fruit. I kept up the gym too with very gentle swims and long walks.

Yeah I’ve been thinking about starting swimming
