Belly bandit sizing??

I’m looking to order a belly bandit to help my tummy after birth, the online sizer says M (currently 36+4 and 43inches) however I’ve also read that a lot of ladies end up needing to buy a second one in a size smaller after a few weeks - can anyone shed some light on this? Am I better just going straight for a size small or do I listen to the website and get a medium?Confused

Following - sorry to jump on but I’ve been thinking of buying one too as due in two weeks. It seems odd to go by size now so was wondering also.

@BellaNutella88 no problem and I hope someone can help us! I’ve read online that in your ninth month you subtract about 5 inches to get correct size too so I really feel unsure!

@Saladinthesun @BellaNutella88 a small isn't going to fit you after birth, the medium will fit and will help reduce you down after a couple of weeks then you will need a small to do this further...

Is it your first baby?

It is for me yea. They are quite expensive so reluctant to buy two. Maybe I’ll wait until the initial belly has gone down?

@BellaNutella88 Buy one second hand of eBay, honestly don't waste your money on new you can get them in excellent condition...

After my first my stomach went down a few hours after giving birth DH said I looked skinner than before I got pregnant 😂 (cheeky sod) but these make you feel better because its pushing everything back in or holding you up sort of thing x

Haha that made me laugh ! Good to hear the tummy goes down a bit - I’m massive ! Good idea I’ll have a look at second hand. Thank you !

@HJWT thank you for that! Smile first time mum here too so no idea about this kind of thing! Grin

@BellaNutella88 @Saladinthesun I think they are meant to be really good if you have a c-section as well because apparently you feel like everything's hanging out and it helps you walk when you have to but I had a normal delivery so not 100% on that part ☺️ x
