Had a blood test Monday when I was 6+5 and the HCG was 35607

Todays blood test (7weeks) (48hrs later) shows HCG of 54365.

My GP hasnt looked at the results yet so I am waiting on a call from them but obviously in the meantime i am worrying as they havent doubled.

Does anyone have any experience of this and gone on to have a heatlhy pregnancy?

Did you have to have additional tests or an early scan?

Thanks in advance

The doubling rule is a rule of thumb, bcg won't always rise at that rate in every woman. Your levels seem high and rising. I'd say its looking good.

Once the levels get higher the rate at which they increase slows down

Thank you for your replies. Fingers crossed. I have a early scan next Saturday so hoping everything shows ok then

It can take up to 72 hours to double at this stage. Mine went from 28000 to 46000 in 48 hours at 6 weeks, baby was fine.
