How far dilated were you at the sweep?

I am current 41 weeks and 3 days, I started to get contractions last night, roughly every 5 minute. Had a sweep today where the midwife said I was 1-2cm dilated and she's confident my labour should be tonight or in the morning, as she said it was a good sweep. I am still getting painful contractions every 5 minutes and no idea how I will manage to sleep through them.
I know every woman is different, but wondered what are other women's experience, with the sweep and how far where you dilated?

@MummyCJW. I was 1cm dilated at my sweep. Midwife carried out sweep on the Sunday and my DD was born on Tuesday evening (her due date was the Saturday)! I found that a few hours after my sweep I started to lose my plug. Never got any contractions until the Tuesday but did have a few niggles here and there.

Congratulations and good luck! X

I had a sweep at 37+6, was 4cm but didn't know it, baby arrived 4 hours later (first contraction and waters breaking to baby in arms).

If your cervix is favorable it can bring things along - good luck!

First sweep at 37 weeks 1-2cm, midwife just did it due to reduced movements and tightenings.

Didn't have another one until 40 weeks, I was then around 3cm and she could stretch to 4cm, DD arrived five days later, I wasn't already have contractions though.

Good luck
