Hi,
I'm 6w 6d pregnant following a frozen embryo transfer with my second DC.
We went private (paid for by kind parents-in-law) with my first DS and had an amazing consultant. Unfortunately, she doesn't do private deliveries anymore and her antenatal appointments are hard to get to because of childcare issues/we've moved to the other side of London. Parents-in-law have agreed to pay for private care for this current pregnancy - if it survives.
I wondered whether anyone had any recommendations?
For background: I was ineligible for midwife-led care with DS because I was being monitored by a fertility clinic, but had an uncomplicated pregnancy. I was very keen to have a natural, active, unmedicated birth and - despite some problems - my consultant helped me manage that as well as we could, despite having to be induced and my DS getting stuck at the end. So, despite being 39 and it being an IVF pregnancy, I really want to avoid a 'caesarian and interventions with everything'-style consultant.
Hope someone can help!
