Nothing to suggest but I'm 9 weeks and also really struggling with that.
Hugs!

I had this. It was awful, i tried meditation, lavender oil, bath before bed.

Not pregnancy related (as I've never been pregnant) but I find the best solution is not to fight it. If you're lying awake wishing yourself to sleep you probably won't sleep. Read a book or listen to music/a podcast, and you should end up either with the book on top of your face/waking up with your headphones out of your ears not really sure what the last track/thing they said was. All of the above take your mind off whatever it is that's keeping you awake so it can finally switch off. Good luck!

I’m 36 weeks and I’m the exact same, I haven’t found anything to help yet

Triskaidekaphilia · 02/07/2019 14:18

Having the same problem, also 36 weeks. From 12-4am I usually only wake up once or twice but after that it's anywhere between 20 minutes and an hour. For a good few weeks of the first trimester it was literally every hour and this isn't much better. Finishing work might not have helped- finally not in pain every day but equally I'm not able to wear myself out very well.

Unfortunately @FelicisWolf's suggestions are the opposite of what works for me, I need as little light, noise etc as possible, but I do try and switch my brain off by imagining or fantasising my own story which switches off the usual relentlessness of my non-fictional thoughts. Doesn't stop me waking up but does help get to sleep in the first place.

Thanks for all the advice. I think I managed to get around 5 hours last night plus a nap during the day. The most iv had all week. I found everytime I wake up in the night DONT look at the time it seems to make things worse lol
