Anyone had a gut feeling theyre having multiples and been right

Just curious. I am 12 weeks and still have 2 weeks until my scan

I had a feeling I was having twins. Had a very weird dream too just before I found out I was pregnant? So bizarre!
But... had an internal at 5.5 weeks and there was only one sack 😟 no baby showing but was marked down as single pregnancy! I was certain in my gut! I’m only 7+4 weeks at the moment so I have agesss for my scan!
are you hoping for multiple? I was desperate for twins xx

I'm not especially hoping for twins but would be happy to (if that makes sense). I am huge (but eating crap) and have felt the baby moving since 10+4 but this is my second so I know thats not unusual. I just have a niggle in the back of my mind....

My friend was convinced she was having twins, went for an early scan at 9 weeks and the sonographer said there was one with a heartbeat, my friend said no there's two and low and behold two foetus two heartbeats in the same sack!

And there's no twins in her family either she just a feeling!

I wouldn't say that I 'knew' or had an instinct, but I did keep mentioning twins to my DH. Kept worrying and saying how would we cope with a toddler plus twins etc. I even mentioned to my colleague at work that I was worried about having twins. No real reason to say any of that really. Got to my 12 week scan and saw the 2 babies on there immediately followed by the sonographer 'do twins run in your family?!'
Me and DH both burst out laughing.
No twins don't run in either side of our families, so definitely wasn't expecting it. I had no morning sickness or any symptoms that might point to twins!

I'll also add that I knew I was pregnant before even missing my period and taking a test. I correctly guessed that I'm having boy/girl twins and that the boy is on my left, girl is on my right. I feel like I'm very in tune with my own body.

Yes had the feeling and yes had twins. Wasn't surprised at all. None in the family. Thinking back i was huge at my 10 week scan and felt nausea until around 20 weeks.

I didn't "know" persay but I had mentioned it jokingly more than once. I more felt that something was wrong, I felt flutters very early and showered very quickly. I had an early scan at 7 weeks due to a bleed, that only showed on baby, went for my 12 scan and there was two babies in one sac. No twins in the family or anything. But I did feel something Was off x

Hey OP totally get what you mean! Like @boodles101 I knew I was pregnant 2 days before missing my period and the line on the test came up really dark almost instantly!

I've vomited almost every day from about 5 weeks (10 weeks now) and I've been super exhausted. I know 4 other women who are pregnant right now and none of them seemed to have suffered in the first trimester like I have and they've all had confirmed single baby pregnancies!

I know everyone is different so that's not factual evidence but something is niggling at me that this might be different.

Was convinced this time i was pg before getting a positve test. Then i was convinced it was twins. Partly a feeling and partly cos i had seemingly high hcg levels. Currently 33+3 with twins!

My sickness hit me like a train at 5 weeks and I started a pregnancy diary, I actually wrote: I keep getting the feeling that I'm having twins. I'm so sick and I seem to be showing already. Had an early scan at 7 weeks and there was 2 babies with 2 heartbeats in their own sacks with their own placentas!! I'm now 17 weeks pregnant with a boy-girl twins

Wow this is amazing, some great stories, thanks for sharing. This afternoon I felt proper little thump-thump-thump and it really shocked me how strong the feeling was. I didnt feel my DS until 16 weeks on the dot and I am bigger this time around (I didnt lose much baby weight! 😲) so I expected it to be a while before I felt anything.

I have no idea how we would cope, physically and financially. My DH cringes everytime I mention it (but he would be fine if it happened). Dc1 will be 2yo in October so twins and a toddler gives me a little worry I must admit but what will be will be!!
