Some advice please , slightly bleeding

Sorry to be descriptive I’ve been having brown discharge when I wipe for the past three days now. I put on a pad two days ago and there wasn’t a lot. I’m six weeks +2 and two nights ago I had quite bad cramping . The discharge was stringy I checked it and couldn’t see anything soo worrying it just looked like sticky old blood. Today I have less blood but still cramps and back pain. I can’t be seen by epu till next week. Has anyone else experienced this

Hi, I had some spotting early in pregnancy too. I didn't have cramps but I know this can be quite common. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant and been having bleeding right through, I have seen the EPU and then the maternity assessment and it's because i have a low lying placenta. They did tell me that some women do bleed through their pregnancy and there is no explanation for it. I know it's hard but try to relax as much as you can, worrying really doesn't help. Call the EPU again as soon as you are 7 weeks.

I had this when I was 6+2, I went for an early scan which show pregnancy was dating around 4+2 - they put it down to an implantation bleed. I went back 2 weeks later and baby was there heartbeat and all. She's now 3 nearly 4!
Could just be your body getting rid off anything old that's left in there! Or similar to me you could be a couple of weeks out/ implantation bleed!

Try to relax, I know easier said than done!
