So I know the rule is usually one more layer than what we're wearing but what do you dress a newborn in if the weather was like today for instance? Due in less than 2 weeks and luckily have some clothes from DD but she's a September born so have stocked up on some summery clothing just incase however seriously what do you dress them in.. day and night! Thanks:) from a mummy to be just last minute fretting!

A nappy and a vest.

Yep short sleeved vest. Then you can layer over as needed. Some cotton blankets or giant muslins are handy too.

Just in a nappy is fine for heat like today!
You'll be staying indoors out of then sun too. Make sure you have a fan handy! Cuddling a newborn in this heat it's warm!

Nappy and vest is fine while its red hot. Just a nappy is also fine if you feel a vest is too much.
