Hi, advice please.... I’m 15 weeks and have had a really bad cold/flu and a really sore throat for almost 2weeks. I am miserable have taken paracetamol but not regularly but it’s not helping much. I saw GP on wed. He said it’s viral and there were no white spots on my throat. He gave me an antibiotic but said to wait a few days to a week before taking it to see if I improve on my own. My throat is still so sore and I didn’t want to take the antibiotics if it is viral as it’s not supposed to help!! Any advice would be so appreciated xx
