I'm 17 weeks 4 days and have felt nothing so far. I know it's early days and if this was my first I wouldn't think anything much of it, but it's my third and everyone says you feel subsequent pregnancies earlier. I felt both of my other two at about 16-17 weeks.

Is this normal? Should I be worried? I mean, I am worried, but am I just being silly?

Could be the position of the placenta I know some people who barely felt movements because of this.

I know, you're right. My last two had the placenta at the back but I don't know this time.

You can always call your midwife or hospital see what they say.

It still early though, I didn't feel anything strongly until 20weeks...but I don't know if I had earlier flutters I didn't recognize to be movement??
My placenta also at the back so ideal position to feel movement but I didn't!!

Hi, I’m 18 weeks with DC2 and I still haven’t felt anything definite. A private 16 week scan showed the placenta was at the back.
I asked a similar question on here and lots of people reassured me that they didn’t feel anything until later on (20+ weeks) even with 2nd child.

With my 1st my placenta was at the back and I was feeling movement from 18 weeks so I'd ask midwife.
Not being rude but apparently if you're smaller you feel movements earlier too.
